I'm Getting Murdered in the Morning

If the title didn't catch your attention, maybe these other fine details will:

March 1st or March 2nd see the first productions of the Community Art Players.  We invite you to the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall for a meal and to celebrate a wedding.  A wedding of someone you may or may not know.  A dinner and show titled, "I'm Getting Murdered in the Morning," by Lee Mueller.

Someone in the community of Salisbury.  With intricate roles intertwined, we are calling for open auditions.  Monday, January 6th.  From 6-8pm at the Peace Lutheran Church in Salisbury.  Prepare a two minute comedic monologue and be a part of all the fun.

Reasons to audition or participate.

1.  Celebrate Salisbury.  Be a part of a community program looking to bring together the Salisbury community on a different level than any others.

2. Celebrate Theatre.  Bring back or find your love for theatre.  Bring out your hidden personalities and talents.

3. Celebrate Variety.  There are many different roles.  Ranging from main roles to roles that require little to no memorization.  Find what suits you best.

3. Celebrate Time.  Practices will only be once a week.  That is not a type-o.  They are really only once a week until the week of the show.

4. Celebrate You.  Be a star.  Surprise others with your role and talent.  Be a part of a group that wants to not only buckle down and entertain the community, but also have fun while doing it.

5. Just celebrate.   The entertainers and the entertained will all be a part of something that has been missing in our community for quite some time.  We are all excited to have this opportunity to celebrate community theatre in Salisbury.

If auditioning for a role isn't something that you feel comfortable doing just yet, but still want to help.  We will also have a meeting Tuesday, January 14th at 7pm at the Peace Lutheran Church in Salisbury.  You are welcome to attend.  With questions about auditions or Community Art Players involvement email communityartplayers@gmail.com.

See you soon.
